My eldest daughter woke me up to tell me to help her BF who had suffered a car accident. She is in Europe. She sent me the man´s phone number. I harrased my best friend who has a nephew who owns a nursing care center. Then I started to call. I first called many times my daughter´s cellphone and his home phone. No answer. I then thought the injury must be big and that he was in the hospital (What else can you think?) Now I have been trying to reach my daughter for hours. No answer. I have sent her messages. No response. JEEZZZ!!! If she had been so worried so as to call me in the middle of the night, she should have her cellphone nearby. Don´t you think. I wish Tania´s BF all the best, but he is an older man and not my problem. This is where I stop. Half of my day has been ruined and I have not reached a good result. This is a big rant!

She has been talking with her BF through whatsapp (it is free). She can missplace her head, but not her cellphone.

You are right . If it was a big injury , then she should have her cellphone by her side always . Yeah the boyfriend is matured enough to take care of himself .

She explained and I accepted her apologies. Her BH lost his cellphone on the crash so of course noone answered. As for her, she was at a place with no whatsapp.

Yeah she should have kept her phone near her if it was so important. What were you supposed to do if you are not in Europe anyway?

So do you know what's happened or how's the man now? I hope he is okay, but yes, I think your daughter should have given you a call to update you too, no matter how her boyfriend is now.

I know nothing! My daughter awoke me in the middle of the night, set me in action and forgot about me.

I did not either. I can get a nurse´s aid, but not a maid. And if he is well enough, he must be well over 55 years of age.
