Life, and the next phase of life for ourselves

Life is always responsibly alive in all aspects of itself, that is always so, that is, unless that aspect does not grab its own responsibility part of that life, and run with it, responsibly with life.
Life must be lived from life, not by ignoring it and retreating from it, but to find your next movement through life is often hard, because it is hidden from you, not by yourself, but by the overall mystery factor of life that only opens one page of itself to you at a time, and which will not show you any future pages until you thoroughly read and take in the current page that it has presented to you now to read.
Ignore nothing and just be yourself as you are now, and then let life open the next page for you naturally for you without you looking for a way to force it to open, before you are ready to read it. Accept where you are and let life play its tune for you and then you are a part of the music, not a bad note just sounding out on its own.
Should we try to force life, and manipulate it, for our own benefits then, or not?

Yes, I was trying to show that even the common ones amongst us are all also a very special individualised part of life. The hand of life twirls our own life in its hands giving us new life for a short time.

There are things that we should leave alone and allow nature to take its course. But there are dreams I have in life that I need to make extra effort to reach it. Could it be considered manipulation?

Yes, we should pursue our dreams, because they are usually dreams that are coming to us from life for a reason, or from a future possible page in our own book of life.
And yet there is a fine line here for us to tread, along its balance point. We need to make effort, but without forcing/manipulating. We can't just sit back and do nothing, as I my wife always tells me.
How much should we accept life, how much should we force it (if at all)?
Should we just wait for life to turn the pages of our life for us, or should we prepare ourselves and try to be ready for that page, because the pages are linked and usually one thing leads to the next, and our dreams are fulfilled when we become active in their direction.
Knowingness of life is limiting when you are not privy to the insight that, life is holy in its way, when you are holy within it, but when you do not respect life, it will usually try to bolster you back into line in some way, by its leaning more heavily on you in some way then too.

We cannot force life although some times, when things go bad, we wish we could.

Yes, it has always been a problem of mine that I try to force it to go in a different way for myself, but it never does, it presents me with a new page only when I am ready to receive it. This happens to me over and over again.

Thought provoking Steve, thanks.
Like most, I always think of where I am going or being led to.
We have our own beliefs and also those handed down but I believe we may not have the awareness to understand what life is about. So I go about life with whatever comes my way and try to accept them.
However, I try not to benefit myself in my choices and deprive society thereby.
I have a view we are prompted in our thinking by various factors and karma plays a part - the cause and effect of our actions. We make choices that decide where we go here and hereafter - siva

I have always liked the way the American Indians and the Australian Aboriginals respected life, seeing it as something sacred, and them being a part of it. Civilised people seem to see themselves not as caretakers, but more as users. They take everything from life, and give very little back.
I would hate to be able to read the final chapter of life on Earth right now. Perhaps it is our group karma that is writing it!
We do make choices, but they should take into account our place in it all, and should not be made just to benefit solely just ourselves.

@innertalks They had time to reflect on life than get distracted by information overflow that is increasing at an exponential rate.
I also like to think and act like them that our life here is sacred, and we should be grateful for the opportunity to contribute and leave positive footprint.
I like to pause, think and ponder than rush through my days.
I often chew the cud of what and where I am.
I like to widen my horizon through understanding where others come from as everyone has a point of view and a reason for that.
I want to rest easy on my conscience and do what is right and when in doubt our actions should benefit those who are more in need than us.
We have an inner knowing to guide us and we should tap its unfathomable and ready wisdom - siva

@Shiva49 Yes, our inner knowing knows when we move off from the page that we are meant to be on and writing on.
Our conscience is linked into the pen that we are using too, are we writing with real ink, invisible ink, or with someone else's blood!?
