Dress Part and Look The Part

Some of us have heard that looks are deceiving. I can tell you it might be in this case when an job interviewer had hired someone who dress the part and said the right things doing the interview and was not a good worker. Do you think that this happens alot?

I am sure that it does. Just because a person can dress the part and can answers the questions that are asked does not mean that the person is a good worker. They may not be a team player. They may be lazy. It is hard to tell by a simple interview how somebody will be as an employee.

You can tell although their references spoke good of them.

I think you always need to dress well for an interview, first impressions really do count. Beyond that, it is hard to tell what kind of worker someone will turn out to be

Yes, I do believe this happens a lot more than people think. I know some people may wear jeans a lot but for an interview, they may wear nicer clothing, and still be a great worker. There are in my opinion many workers that started out looking the part of a confident worker when indeed was not as it seemed.
