The world through my kitchen window

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and enjoy looking out of the window watching the world go by,so to speak. My kitchen window faces a large empty plot, an unpaved road and an enormous tree that has got to be at least a hundred years old. Every day I see something interesting and tell my children, like the other day I saw this guy riding a bike......okay there are millions riding bikes..... but how many have you seen holding the handle bar with one hand and brushing their teeth with the other??

It's difficult to ride a bike with one hand brushing your teeth...

@epiffanie Sadly haven't seen the guy again. We live just outside a village.Watching the simple lifestyles of the villagers is really satisfying. No false airs.down to earth, friendly and helpful is something we don't come across to often these days.

He might have worked in a circus or was late for an appointment.

!?!? Now that is something I've never seen! It is fun to watch people go by--or even birds--which is what we mostly see out our kitchen window.

Unbelievable to see a person brushing his teeth while riding a bike? From my kitchen window, I see wonderful flowers and trees and bushes, my own little paradise.

He wasn't riding fast. Doesn't it make you wonder as to why he couldn't brush his teeth before leaving his house.

These little everyday incidents are kind of amusing and keep one going when doing mundane tasks.
