Another quiet day and keeping my spending to the bare minimum at present.
I found a CD/Radio player going free on Freecycle in Preston, and actually quite close to home, and went round to pick that up, spending much of the evening listening to that. I often use my computer CD player for CD-ROMS with photos on, so an independent player is invaluable for me.

the flat and the city are great - just welfare tightening thumbscrews and not sorting rent out which is a hassle
