It's National Apple Dumplings Day!!

Yes, today is National Apple Dumplings Day!! Apparently September in St. Loius, Eckert's family farm celebrates all month long!! There really isn't an origin or reason for Apple Dumpling Day other than in the U.S., it's apple harvesting time!! There's a reason for any holiday!! ~Peace~ photo courtesy of bing public domain

I wonder if celebrating with a pie would do the trick. Apple harvesting? That would be fun. I remember my ex and used to go to this one orchard and found huge apples on the ground. They were like a meal.

My Mom used to make great "Apple Dumpling" and she didn't need a special day !
