Do You Live in Bangladesh?

My grandson has a project for his Social Studies class about Bangladesh, so I thought I would find out if there is someone on myLot who lives in Bangladesh that can supply more information about their country. I did find a few things that I thought were very interesting, but it’s always best to learn from someone who actually lives there. We found one site that told us that the Royal Bengal Tiger is the national animal of Bangladesh. It’s my very favorite animal of all time. If you could see my bedroom, you would see pictures of the Bengal Tiger there. I know that it is also on the endangered species list. Another interesting thing we read is that Bangladesh has SIX seasons, not four like some other countries have. They were listed as “grismo” which is summer; “barsha” which is rainy: “sharat” which is autumn; ‘hermanto” which is cool; “sheet” which is winter; and “bashonto” which is spring. I’m not sure what season they are in right now, but it would be interesting to know more. I also read that the Bay of Bengal is the largest bay in the world. What are some other interesting facts? I will continue to look for more information, but if you live there, you many know many other things that would be interesting. Please share.
