An angel in disguise

So, one of the reasons I have not been online much lately is related to my job. I have been in an emotional struggle because of my job as a high school teacher in a public school. I told my boyfriend I am giving up. He is still on a holiday break. During holidays, he will go to his parents' house to help them in the house. Even though he has been busy doing household chores, he takes a break to talk to me. He has been always checking me for he knows how depressed I am. We have been discussing this matter for a few days now. All he wants is that I have a stable job and resigning from a public school is not an easy decision. I told him I will not do it soon. I will wait for at least 2 more years and if promotion did not come my way, then I will leave. He knows I have been crying over this matter and he always do his best to be at my side even though he is far away. I am very thankful I have an angel like him in my life. He's being attentive and compassionate can already work magic with me. Do you also have a person in mind whom can you consider as your angel in disguise?

Have you determined the cause of your depression? If you are sure that it is work-related, I doubt if a promotion will make things better. Good to know that your boyfriend is there to cheer you up. Can't say that I have an angel in disguise to turn to. Devils and angels just don't mix!

@annierose if students are your problems, best to show them who's the boss in class!

The only problem is I that I have been struggling with students. Being promoted means I don't have to teach to the classroom again and deal with some rascals.

I'm so glad you have someone you can talk to about the problems in your life. No, I don't have anyone like that.

In times like I do not feel like anyone is going to listen to me. I just pray and sometimes I just read a book.

My husband is my angel in disguise. He is always looking out for me. It is lovely that you have someone to share both good and bad things with.
