Most everybody likes to collect quotes. First post of a possible series shining a spotlight on people considered “geniuses” and sharing a few of their words of intelligence, knowledge and wisdom. Who knows? Maybe some of it might rub off on me! ~ “Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination when awake?” Hmmm …? Is it that way for you too?? No? Must be a genius thing! ~ “Learning never exhausts the mind.” Definitely on board with this quote. You can take it to the bank! ~ “Nothing is more apt to deceive us than our own judgment of our work.” ~ “The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions.” Dude! Seriously! Get out of my head! ~ “Life without love is no life at all.” OK! Makes sense.

There is a book out there about training yourself to see the world as Da Vinci did. I wonder how they know?

There are many interesting quote by Leonardo. I remember the one that says: "Humans spend half time of their life ruining their health, the other half trying to heal" another, beautiful "simplicity is the ultimate perfection", I love this one.

The last one is interesting because it could mean love in the romantic sense, or love of life itself, or compassion for others.

To a complaining teen: "Boredom is what you make of it". So, they really have no excuse for blaming boredom for being bored. That's what I tell my kids
