Back home after the doctor.

The doctor wasn´t so mean, after all. The worst she said was that I would have to WALK! Exercise! MOVE! So I guess I´ll have to either walk and hit my eyes with the lower branches of trees or buy a machine to walk in my room while watching TV. She also talked about diet, but nothing so terrible as eating a potato the size of an egg (some people had told me that). Lots of salads and my dear salamis will have to be eaten once in a big while. So, after I left her, I went into the supermarket and bought some avocados, a couple od cans of sardines and tomatoes for my breakfast. And 2 heads of lettuce and chicken. No butter, marguerine or those delicious hams with lots of solid grease. The doctor told me I should eat whole fruit. I don´t usually eat fruit, but I´ll double the amount of salads. And then, thhere are more meds to take. Now it is Metphormine. Do you start doing some changes in your life after you go to a doctor?

Glad to hear that everything went quite well at the doctor's appointment. Change will take a little getting use to but you will adjust to it.

@marguicha I can understand that so if you can do anything to prevent it then it is worth it.

Well why do you think I don't go? LOL. My ex husband used to take that medicine. I don't think he had any problems from it.

Well you should have your physical activity now. That is the best we can do to our body.

@marguicha just take it easy, don't force yourself, walk if it makes you comfortable.

you are so funny, marguicha! i'd rather eat more veggies than fruit, too. some people find walking on a treadmill boring. isn't there a place nearby where there are no trees? hahaha!

I live in a big city full of concrete. Not many trees around.

I am more conscious in eating food after a check-up with ENT. My nose (internal) is swelling and he told me that is food allergy. I am thinking the culprit is the shrimp paste :)

Shrimp is so delicious! Yet many people have allergies to seafood.
