Got approved through Fingerhut!

So I got a catalog from Fingerhut.com in the mail and had something in it for pre-approval up to $40 credit. Well, I decided to check into it anyways since my downstairs neighbor buys from them all the time and when I filled it out....I was happy and excited I got approved for up to $300 credit. I told my husband and he was happy but now anything we get, I am sure going to make sure payments are on time. I don't want to mess up my credit than it already is thanks to my student loans. I am just happy. This is the 1st thing I get approved from any company. Thank you God! I feel blessed!

it's hard to get your credit up once it goes down

Just be careful. Their prices are too high and the interest higher. Check out local stores for lower prices before buying.

@carebear29 Take care, Fingerhut is a lousy place to buy anything.

They are a good company I use to get stuff from them but not any more though. My mom use to do her Christmas shopping through them sometimes.

@Tina30219 Everyone has their own opinions but I like them so far. My husband wants the XBOX 1

I won't. I do research on each item before I buy.

Just be careful...their prices are pretty bad compared to buying elsewhere. If you're trying to rebuild credit you would be better off leaving the account open but unused except for a small purchase every few months that's paid off in full as soon as the transaction posts.

Check the prices on items because some stuff is a lot higher in price through them.

It's actually a very small line of credit here in the US.

I got the same approval about a year ago, but I haven't bought anything from them yet. Good luck on being able to find something you want and keeping up with the payments. It will help your credit score, which is why I have it.

My downstairs neighbor goes through them. She gets everything through them actually.

@carebear29 I've always liked what they had to offer. I just haven't seen anything lately that I want, but I'm keeping my eyes open.
