It's funny now but with me, what comes to mind comes out of my mouth. My caregiver, Ted, is Scott. I asked him if he had a kilt and he said he had a handful of kilts. I proceed to put my foot in my mouth and said Scottish Mebane free ball it.
Ted said he would call it going commando. I did apologize to him. He put me at ease. He said, Ms. Charlene, there is nothing you could say that would embarrass me. I felt better.
I told Ted I think of him like family so there is no censor on my mouth. If I thought of him only as a hospice caretaker I would not be so free with my colorful language.

we do get to feel like they are family and i remember how sad i felt when i lost one of my clients i took care of and now i wonder about which will miss me.

@OreoBrownie i went to 2 of mine over the years. broke my heart. i don't have nurses come these days . guess my insurance not paying for it now. but i would want them to come if they want
