Shopping Day

A new grocery store opened in Green Bay, though it's been around for a long time, we just didn't have it here. Pick N Save bought out or merged with, not sure which, one of the most expensive grocery stores in Green Bay. I heard the prices were great and so was the produce, so after the pool this morning I headed over there because I needed fruit and water. I really loaded up on fruit. So that will be my go to snack for a few days. I had just gotten the groceries taken care of when the phone rang and my new medication was ready, so I headed out once more and decided to pass the house and see if my son's package had shown up yet. It hadn't, but the house is now up for sale and there were people working inside, evidenced by the truck in the driveway and car out front. I barely got home when my son called and I asked him if he would like to take me out to Wal-Mart. I wanted to get a new media center for my TV which is sitting on the edge of the one I have from my parents. We had just missed each other by the house. He told me the bush out front was gone along with the tree on the other side of the house, which I didn't notice on my drive past. So he picked me up and we drove past the house before heading out to Wal-Mart. They didn't have the media center in stock that I wanted, but the west side had one, so we went there and now it is sitting in my living room ready to put together. He advised me not to put it together upside down. Don't laugh. I get at least one piece upside down when putting anything together that I've gotten from Wal-Mart in the past be it book shelves or the computer desk that went by way of the curb a couple years ago because it was starting to fall apart. So I will get that put together at some point either today or tomorrow and then my son can come and help me get the TV set on it since it takes two people to handle it. My neighbor just stopped over for a small chat. I think I'm going to be learning Spanish. She doesn't speak much English and I speak no Spanish, so it's interesting talking to her but she is so nice. So that has been my day so far and here it is after 3 PM already and I'm just getting started on here, so let's see how much I can accomplish today. How was your day today.
