Yep, I be going to Thailand in a few months. and I cannot wait neither. I've not been there since 94, and I do have family there also. SO, I'm excited about going. We're just trying to find the cheapest plane ticket to go. the last estimate was $1400 for one person round trip. lil high I think

there'll be lots of changes after 22 years. it's good that you have family to stay with.

When traveling, you can get cheaper plane ticket if you make an advance booking say 6 months before your flight. Flying on a peak season is high. I haven't traveled but I studied airline course.

When you think about how far you are traveling that really isn't that high

Can I ask how long you want to stay and where you will be coming from? There are a few money saving ways to get here depending on how long you want to stay. Many people fly to KL in Malaysia then travel up by land this is good only if you want to stay less then 14 days or have a forest visa. If you want to stay longer you have to fly into Thailand as they give you 30 day visa on arrival. Thailand is a great place and much has changed since the last time you were here. What part of Thailand are you heading for?
