We had cheeseburgers and I t saved mine for snack time. My tablemate insisted I take hers. I never saw a cheese burger so full of meat, cheese , tomato and lettuce on a big bun, It was so good ']but I coujld nmot eat all of it. I ate two thirds and one third the french fries that was it. I had Ambrosia for dessert.' I know I would have been ill from overeating had I tried to eat all tjat. We Americans seem to ovedreat because pur plates are filled too fui for the average woman to consume as it will really make you feel stuffed. A good lunch but one must stop; before you feel that icky over full feeling. IOne original post and graphic by P Hatley copyrighted 2916

Sounds wonderful and you make a good point. Overeating makes you feel sick so its best to stop before you reach that point.

The good thing is you have sense to save some of that for your snack later on. Yah, eating too much at once is what we all tend to do . . . I know I get real bad when it comes to pasta dishes. **This finally posted after many tries!!!

I have always ate smaller meals and I do that to this day. I got my husband eating less and he feels better to.

Time to hit the gym! What will I do when I get to your age? Will I have money enough to hire a cook so that I don't land in your place and get horribly ill? Tasty sounding food but oh it would make me ill.

the silly thing is Im not here because of some heath issue I was fine in our own apt shared with my som but I retired forced to and at the worst time as my son had a falling out with his boss and was fired.we used all my retirement fuinds and all he had saved still got behind on rent and we we e evicted after being helped for awhile by friends we were still homeless and my son worred for me at 83 being homeless so here I am not because I was ill but because I had no home to go to I can still cook as I did all my own cooking up til we were thrown out in the street.

I had a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, lettuce and one piece of chopped chicken, mayo for the dressing. I know what you mean about to much on a plate.
