In my country, there are some candies to eat during Halloween party. Unlike in other country, children are so happy before 31st of October. They are going to wear Halloween costumes and go to the neighborhood for candies. I didn’t know until now that we can also have some apple candies. At the back of mind, it can be a good business venture during this day. What other things that we can eat during Halloween? Image Credit: pixabay.com

We don't celebrate Halloween but we do celebrate All Saints Day and in the memorial park we eat a lot as if we are in a picnic ground.

@Shavkat A pumpkin pie is more similar to a cheesecake and an egg pie. Only more nutritious due to pumpkin. It also have a hint of cinammon and ginger due to pumpkin spice.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I think that would be a good replacement for apple candies.

Most Filipinos I think make sweet sticky rice dishes and some even put in in plates for ghosts to feast on, at least in the South I know they do this but I'm not so sure if it is still prevalent, I think the general term there is " kalag-kalag"

I've thought about it and can't think of a single food item I associate with halloween...apart from pumpkins and they're just for the lanterns. Here in the UK halloween was never as big as in places such as the US but this trick or treating thing now seems to be getting bigger in the UK. There are parties and things like that but I can't think of any particular food that is associated with halloween.

Mostly its candy they seek but I guess the fun and activity is just to ring bells and demand

I also assume that it wasn't the food that triggers them to have. But to have fun in the parties.
