Can You Believe It?

I have done a lot of research on serial killers. I am fascinated by them. I believe we need to know about evil, teach our children so they are aware. Well I was doing some research, and came across this site where a person can BUY personal letters, ID, clothing articles, personal photographs, court documents, and all manner of personal effects that belong to these serial killers. If you are willing to put out the $$ that is. I was shocked but supply and demand I suppose. Some people are obsessed with these loons. I am fascinated with what they do, not them personally. I am like Amy on TBBT. I want to dissect their brains.
I am just totally amazed at what we can find on the internet. Have you found any weird sites online?

@bunnybon7 .....That's great! I think parents are responsible to do just that. Not let children think that everyone is okay because the are not. Age appropriate of course.

I think they have a right to know that there are evil people out there. Why leave them innocent and ill prepared? We need to teach them right and wrong too. But, again, I think they have a right to know about the bad element too so they are prepared and can defend themselves. We can't be there forever to protect them.

Who would? I just think it is amazing what they sell online. Reminds me of the lines: You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant." Like that.

I have seen them and can't seem to find out how to sell them and get rid of the letters and things I have from Angel Resendez the railroad killer as he was known. I would gladly take the money. what a nut.

Hmm... I must have come across some weird site in my life but I can't think of one right now.
As for what you shared, hmm... I guess, some museum dealing serial killers or things like that would want those items. But I would feel a bit disturbed if someone wants them for a personal collection.

I am curious as to what makes them do what they do, but honestly, I hope I never can understand it.

I want to understand desperately. I think there is good in all humans. Just don't understand the evil choses some make.

I do too. The obvious doesn't seem to be it so hope they figure it out. Psychopaths and sociopaths just don't have the compassion and consideration. It is just in their make up and doesn't seem to be genetic.

@celticeagle That's what I have read, and it's usually the very person you would never suspect.

I haven't found any weird sites lately. It's been several years but I came across a site where women could get donations for cosmetic surgeries.
I thought that was totally ridiculous.
I don't think I would want to purchase any kind of item that belonged to, or had to do with, a serial killer.

I wouldn't either.

I personally think that is a sick obsession some people have to want to buy those items by serial killers.

I used to read a lot of true crime books. I especially liked Ann Rule's. I didn't read just about serial killers, but other crimes, too. You just wonder what goes on in peoples' minds. However, I can't imagine buying those objects. I think they'd give me the creeps. But I guess there are collectors of just about anything out there.
I can't think of anything comparatively weird right now. I'll come back if something emerges from behind a brain wrinkle.

I know. I read a book a few years back about a psychopath that was also a multiple personality. The real core person didn't even know the killing were going on.

I try to avoid weird sites - except this one LOL. People will buy anything that's a given.

I do too. But to know such places are around gives me a weird feeling. Having access to EVERYTHING.
