I've had my CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine for 6 months now and I'm so happy for that fact. I never really considered that I might have sleep apnea until my doctor mentioned it during a check-up visit for my blood pressure. Sure enough, a sleep study showed that I stopped breathing on average 30 times per hour. Enter the CPAP machine. I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to sleep with something on my face but I slept easily that first night and week and it was never a problem. I immediately noticed that I was sleeping through the night (instead of waking up like every hour or two) and I was waking up feeling refreshed. I still sleep soundly through the night and wake up feeling wonderful. I am grateful for that every day. I don't miss the days of feeling like a zombie every morning. I no longer have to take naps each day after work. The CPAP machine truly has improved my quality of life. It has been a great 6 months!

I had a sleep apnea test done but never found out the results. I have trouble sleeping at night but i know it's due to my heart condition etc. Glad the cpap machine is working for you and you sleep well now.
