Do you use a GPS when you drive? / myLot

My ex is the type of person he likes to use a GPS wherever he goes, even if it a familiar place. I don't like relying on gadetry to tell me what to do, I prefer to go by printed directions or look at a map. I hate traveling with him because he will go by that stupid GPS even if there is a more direct route. I will admit that there are times the GPS comes in handy though..What about you? Do you use a GPS?

We use a GPS when we go somewhere. The highway system in Florida leaves much to be desired. You could be lost forever if the sign sends you the wrong way or the exit is on the left instead of the right.

I use GPS for when I haven't been to a place before. My GPS comes on automatically when the vehicle is started and just shows a map and where I'm at on that map. I will use the GPS even if I know the general vicinity that I'm going but I won't always listen to it if I know a faster or less traveled route. The GPS isn't always accurate I find, especially in newer areas.
