I Hate When Kai Becomes Brooklyn And Brooklyn Becomes Kai

One Kai and Brooklyn is more than enough for any one household to edure. Some how my 2 dogs become four dogs. I am not sure how they do it, but these two are some shapeshiting dogs. Kai's favorite toy is her rope toy. Fun Fact: the toy is over 5 years old and was also Tristans favorite toy. Must be a German Shepherd thing. Brooklyn's favorite toy is all of her bouncy racquetballs. Both bug me through out the day. Kai comes down to my room and drops her rope toy in my lap. Brookyn prances down and literally throws her raquetball in my lap. That is when I know it is time to play whether I want to or not. Every now and then the world gets turned upside down. Kai comes down with Brooklyns racquetball and drops it in my lap. After a few throws and Kia clumsily knocking the ball all over the place because she cannot catch to save her life, Brooklyn comes down with Kai"s rope toy. She gently lays it down next to me and then gives me a good poke in the ribs. Now Brooklyn gets to be Kai for about 30 seconds. That is usually how long it takes before Kia figures out we are playing with her favorite toy. I do not know? It is all one big confusing world. It really does feel like we have 4 dogs in the house sometimes. They pull this trick on me when they take their power nap also. Brooklyn will be laying at my feet. I get busy with something and look down and it is Kai laying at my feet. Brooklyn is nowhere to be seen. What the hell is up with these shapeshifting female dogs? See, women drive men crazy in the doggie world also.

You have two beautiful dogs, enjoy them like they are and try to rest while they have their power nap.

I love them like they are. The problem is it is actually easier to get work done when they sleep. Actually, they are very good when I go to sleep. They usually leave me alone and go to my sisters room. They know how I get if they mess with my sleep. lol

Dogs are fun and playful. Take advantage of that with them. At some point they might just stop. I like the names you have for them. Especially Brooklyn. That is way cool.

Thanks buddy, I have a feeling these two will be always playful. They do slow down a little as they get older which is very nice, but Tristan was even playful when he became crippled at 12 years old.

Ha! It's like kids that aren't interested in a toy until the other kid has it.

It is like that, especially with Kai. I was just telling my sister the other day how Kai is slowly starting to like Brooklyns racqetballs more. She used to hate them and hide them so Brookyn could not find them.
