A lot of military families board their kids as they don't want to make them move schools all the time.
There are other reasons such as parents working abroad or constantly travelling that makes boarding more stable for kids.

True but a scar remains and some take hatred for boarding them. Just imagine when you are small you get more scarred and to whom with this child run, where is the mother.

@kumbarn14 I know loads of kids who boarded and they loved it.
Obviously you get some who don't but purely hearing from people I know it was an overwhelmingly positive experience.

I don't either. However, several people say it counts heavily on college applications.
