“The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain
I’ve been listening to the audio version of “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” that I have on loan from the library. I listen to it in the car, and it is VERY interesting. The reader is so expressive and you can almost feel yourself in the story.
Mark Twain published this book in 1885 and it remains one of the most entertaining books in the world. Have you ever read it?
I really enjoy listening to audio versions, but they are very limited at the library. I wish they had more on hand. I’ve listened to all they have but I had not listened to this one, because I didn’t think it would be that good. But, out of curiosity and lack of other choices, I decided to check it out and I’m very GLAD that I did.

I read about five books every week. I can't read while I'm driving though, so I decided to try the audio books and was pleasantly surprised. The reader does an excellent job and I am enjoying it.

I read Huck Finn as a kid. I prefer Tom Sawyer which is more fun.

@JohnRoberts That's good to know, I guess. Although, I read them for pure enjoyment rather than social relevancy.

@IreneVincent Huck Finn is always rated ahead of Tom Sawyer as being deemed socially relevant while Tom is more of an entertainment.
