Do You Live in Florida?

I have a sister-in-law who lives in Spring Hill, Florida and I have visited her there many times. She has wanted me to come down this coming winter and spend a couple weeks with her, like I used to do. I’ve flown down to Tampa and had her pick me up at the airport. She lives about 50 miles north of Tampa. I’ve also driven to Florida by myself a couple times, but I’m not up to that anymore. It’s a really long trip from Virginia. I seriously doubt that I will go. I’ve seen about all there is to see in Florida. East Coast and Gulf Coast. I had relatives in Melbourne and have been there several times too. In fact, I’m trying to locate my husband’s cousin. He was living on a boat the last time I saw him, but I have been unable to find him. Here’s something I came across today, while looking at some brochures from Florida. It said that the Spanish explorer, Ponce de Leon landed in Florida in 1513. That’s over 500 years ago. Who knew? I do plan to go to West Virginia this FALL, but Florida is just too far.
