Tonight's dinner - roast chicken

Whole chickens were a good buy at Food Maxx today ($.79/lb), so I'm roasting one for dinner. I'm using my great-grandmother's roasting pan to cook it in too! I'm about to scrub some potatoes to put them in along side the chicken. That and green beans will be our side dishes.

The potatoes were especially amazing, roasting in that chicken fat.

It was! There were no leftover potatoes and only a quarter of the chicken left.
