Last Season For Dr. Oz

If you like Dr. Oz Show you are old and naive. This is why 2016 will be the last season for the show. Dr. Emmett Brown claims that half of what Dr. Oz says is bullsh*t. I’m guessing the pharmaceutical companies are having a fit because Dr. Oz isn’t a pill pusher. Because he doesn’t say you need to take this drug or that drug they had to drag him through the mud and create a controversy. To read about the canceling of Dr. Oz Show:

He has certainly had his share of controversy and did not help himself and his credibility by having Trump on the show.

His credibility was dubious from the start and having Trump on was wise ratings wise.

I believe Dr. Oz asked Clinton to come on his show but she turned him down.

I thought that mostly elderly women watched Dr. Oz.

I've never watched the show. I've had no interest.

I never watched the show . . . but any time I hear medical advice coming from a celebrity doctor, I take it with a grain of salt. I am all for alternative medicine myself, but I don't know what all he has claimed.

I don't know hat all he has claimed either because I was at work when his shows were on. He is actually a practicing heart surgeon. The stuff he talks about he usually has other doctors on that tell about this or that.

@RichardMeister I guess he became popular for miracle cures - and like you said he wasn't a pill pusher . . . how enticing his advice must be. But one man does not have the answer to everyone's medical problems - not even the best doctor in the world if there is such a thing. I suppose he was a good entertainer at least regarding medical issues.

He was a "creation" of Oprah Winfrey and she has no power anymore to make them keep his show on.

I believe Dr. Oz's problems come from the fact that he would not bow down to the pharmaceutical companies like Dr. Phil did.
