In every Happy Hour there is a moment of Heartache

Yesterday I took cake to the Bowling club to celebrate my late father's birthday - and why not, he would have been 95 years old and why not celebrate a great man and his memory.
This brought me to thinking - which growing older has me doing it more than I care to . . . . that throughout our day we try and be happy, making the best of every possible positive situation but through the sunshine rays, in creeps one nasty uttered word, one snide remark, one sarcastic phrase, a bitter observation, some mordant threat to spoil what seemed to be a Happy Hour, Someone wanting to 'sh!t' on your happiness!
Strongly I turn the other cheek, but walk away with a nick to the heart as others ruin Sunshine days and Happy hours.
Lets hope the day is not ruined by any of these negative nanny's!
Happy Thursday everyone and be on your best behaviour!
Keep it real!

It is like don't come to a happy occasion when you are going to make it miserable for others.

I hate it when someone pisses on your parade! I would tell them all the above. You have a nice day my friend and ignore these ignorant beasts!

It is always good to move on.....those have to speak uselessly will continue to do so...
It is in our hands whether to let them harm us or just ignore them

Yes, it's too bad that it happens, it does only take one to dampen the spirits of the group. People must choose their friends carefully!
