Why is a persons brain and heart conflicting. How should the person take decision in a crucial situation?

Well I think there is an old saying that says don't let your heart rule your head. Use gut instinct perhaps. Everyone is different with different approaches.

Whatever you have in your heart you react it out in behaviors which starts in the mind and the mind is the brain. For example if you are mad you are going to act in a negative way.

Unfortunately, there is not one answer for all situations.

The heart has no feelings. What I think you mean is you have certain conflicting feelings (feelings purely come from the brain) one part of you feels a certain way but another part says different. I used to react to my emotions way too much so had hypnotherapy to "gain intellectual control over my emotions"...it worked fine and now I'm way less fast to react to things.

@kanchiservai maybe look at CBT or NLP if it's a really big issue.

I do give into my emotions most of the time and neglect what my brain thinks

Because heart beats and brain sends signals through nerves
