I bought this cellular phone to make and receive calls. THis phone is small and does not have the functionality of a smartphone. It helped me for the time I had it. I will place it into the trash can, after I finish my session today. It´s lacking the back cover, so if I try to sell it, no one is going to buy it. Do you throw away old cellular phones or keep them for other uses?

If it is working well and inly lacking of back cover, get duplicate back cover from market at cheap rate and then sell it . You may get good price for it.

I might consider that; however, the first person that I see who might be in need of one is the one who´s is going to get it.

There used to be places where you could sell old electronic stuff. You might want to do a search and see if they still have those programs.

I might consider it. If I don't find that resource, I will give it to someone who might make good usr of it.

@quantum2020 That is a good idea. I'm not sure it is legal to just toss them away.

You may also give it to a needy person. That´s what I´m going to do after I leave this building.

YOu could take the old phone to a recycling place. I am posting on here with quite an old smart phone just now. My wife had it for years and she has upgraded twice since she stopped using it. She said she wasn't throwing it away as it still worked ok. She only upgraded because the battery is one that can't be replaced and it wasn't charging very well. My Samsung stopped working the other night and she said that I should use this one and I have been using it to post on here for a few days and it is going ok. The battery doesn't seem that bad but then agagain I am not streaming videos or using itit for much else. I am glad that she didn't throw it away or sell it. I think that I will quite miss using it when my new phone arrives tomorrow. I will not throw this one away though.

This one that I´m going to get rid of is very old and is not a smatphone, but only a regular old phone that only makes and receives calls. I have another broken smartphone which I wil invest some money sending it for repair.

Beware of number kept in the memory of the Phone . Pleople generally copy the numbers sometimes to the phone memory and forget to note down them while throwing the old phones away.

My husband has a drawer full of our old cell phones. I have no idea why he is saving them.
