Just arrived home from the birthday party of my elder sister.
Her children tendered the party for her. It was fun. Each of the children gave their birthday wishes, and us too, her siblings expressed ours.
There was so much food that each of us were given a take away food, consisting of fried chicken, roasted pork, etc. I was so happy I did not need to cook dinner because I already have it from the party. Also, I will not eat dinner, but will only drink my cranberry and blackberry smoothie.
I drank curcumin tea with ginger and other herbs when I came home because I had eaten roasted pork.
Do you also have that "guilty" feeling after coming from a party and had eaten "unhealthy" foods?

Maybe because you do not have health issues; you are healthy.

it's nice when you get together and everybody had a great time. i also appreciate take-home food to save on cooking.
where did you buy cranberry and blackberry to make your smoothie?

@acelawrites there isn't one near me. i've seen dried cranberries, apricots and cherries and, of course, imported juices, but not fresh frozen fruits yet.

There is a grocery here, South Supermarket that sells frozen fruits like strawberry, cranberry, blueberry, etc. sealed in plastic. It sells for about $3 - $4.

Nope, I live food guilt free, nothing is all that bad if eaten in sensible quantities.

I agree, I just keep being conscious on what I am taking and of what quantity.

So far I haven't been into any kind of parties out there, but I myself haven't been eating less meals lately too.

So true, because we enjoy the food and the company making us forget our diet plans!
