My last student was so arrogant. She claimed to be a General Manager and I respect that. The sad part, it implicates that she is superior to me. The bad thing, she cannot express herself very well in English. The ending of the class session, she gave me a poor evaluation. I just ignored the fact that sometimes student is subjective in evaluating a teacher. I understand how she feels of being frustrated. Hopefully, she will not book my class anymore.

@Shavkat I know over the years I've had manager like this. I don't know how they can act like that.

Maybe because she really thinks of herself as superior. There are people who are really like that. They are fond of downgrading others.

I am still lucky that I can speak English better than her. I ignored her poor performance during the class session.

It is unlucky to meet people like this. In fact sometimes the title of manager is not a big deal. I can see that the insurance sales often have this kind of big title

Actually, I don't mind of what her position in the company. The most important thing is, she should act as a student and I'll do the same thing as a teacher.

In fact, she is in denial of her poor speaking ability.

That's a classical case of Dunning–Kruger effect. It's a cognitive bias that makes low-ability individuals believe they are superior. That is, they don't even have the ability to assess their own abilities (or lack thereof).

That's true. She cannot see herself for having poor in her speaking ability. Besides, she doesn't need to have a class if thinking that there is no wrong in her soft skills.
