Clowns are everywhere. Has it gone too far?

People have taken halloween to a new level, which is extremely danagerous and putting people at risk. The new trend of people dressing up as clowns has taken a massive twist, here in Australia with reports of deaths and serious car accidents.
In Melbourne, Australia there was a group of clowns and they were carrying knives (it was revealed that they were pretend) and a family drove past the clowns. The people dressed in the clown costumes jumped in front of the car and almost hit the clowns. When the family in the car saw the knives, the first reaction of the family they are real knives. The family sped of and got booked for a speeding ticket. The family complained and told them the situation, with the clowns and the knives, but they didn't get off because there was no evidence.
Overall i believe it has gone to far. What do you reckon?

@Hanyouyomi Yeah but when you see some clowns with knives and coming towards you, i'm pretty sure you'll be scared a little. Have you seen any clowns cause accidents?

@ms1864 Well you name it. Their video gets put up on YouTube and they make royalties from that, they become famous as they are all over the media, they might do television interviews where they will get paid for. On the other side they might be charged with a criminal offence as they are endangering the lives of innocent civilians. So pretty much fame and money. Have you seen any clowns around your area?

@ms1864 Probaby ttention, which a lot of people crave... me, since I see humans as wild as any other beast, I merely see this as nature running its course.

@AutumnSnow Well when lives of innocent people are being lost and serious injuries occurring, of course it's gone too far. Do you celebrate Halloween?

I don't get it either. I agree with you that it has gone too far definitely. What happiness would these clown people get by scaring other people? They are also giving the good clowns a bad rep which is sad really because clowns should spread happiness and not fear.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Everyone's lives matters but people just can't take having fun too far that's all. Once people start losing their or close to then it's going too far.

Yeah this whole clown thing is getting out of hand, they are creepy as hell and if I see one on the road with a knife then il run em over

An attack by someone.dressed as a clown has been reported in my town, plus a kid dressed as a clown has been attacked. Meanwhile, here in the UK, entertainers who make a living as clowns are complaining that this has affected their livelihoods.
