I have a friend who grew up to be a Professor of Lepidoptera. I'm sure she knows way more about all insects than I do, but Lepidoptera is her specialty. So, she is listening to the radio: NPR: The world's oldest living monarch has died. C: Wha? How did they figure that out? Did it go back to Mexico to overwinter twice? NPR: The king of Thailand.... Ohhh....

I've seen them too, they are beautiful. Don't see them so much anymore, probably because I'm just not out as much these days.

@Hatley with the temp finally cooling, I might manage to get out a bit more, but... on the other hand, I still need to be close at hand for the roomie...
