On the HGTV channel there is this delightful show that is on several nights a week. It is 'Hunting Vintage'. A couple is looking for vintage home. They have certain criteria such as dental work, stain glass windows, high ceilings, wood floors, etc. As well as a certain budget. And, most want Victorian or even Edwardian, Tudor, Georgian, and some other types of vintage home architecture. A realtor shows them three or four homes, which they show us on the show, and then they choose the one they want. Sometimes it shows them months later after doing some renovation and the before and after effect. Do you like certain architecture, special aspects and vintage type of homes?

I love Victorian homes. I love the architecture of it. I would even love to live in a home like that. I haven't seen that show. I'll need to check it out. Another reason to get hooked on HGTV all over again.

Me too. So I enjoy the tours of the three or four places they go see. Yes, the HGTV has some good ones.

I love old homes, but they do come with certain issues and needed care that not everyone knows how to handle

The only houses I've lived in mostly are ranch houses that dad built. We rented for about a year. I was about 9 or 10. My friend lived in her parents house that used to be a school. It was renovated to be a home. Us kids had such a good to me swinging and playing in the rings and the trapeze bar. It was so fun.

I love to watch HGTV, but I have never heard of this show before. I love the show Flea market Flip where they take old things and make them into something new and modern. I like some aspects of the vintage look for houses. I love high ceilings and wood floors.

I think this is meant for me only. I contacted my builder and asked for a high roof to my house. The doors I wanted was the old design ones available in the British Period buildings. The windows with some simple plain glasses. The builder took me to a place there was such building ie., exactly opposite to the railway station . The roof was having tiles. A small garden in the front. Really pleased to see such a simple and beautiful house. I am ahead with that design
