No Gardening Today

I was hoping that my vision would be good enough today to do a bit of gardening, but unfortunately, it is not. So, I am doing a few things inside that I can handle. I have to close my right eye most of the time to see better. Very annoying. The eye doctor said that it should get much better during the weekend. I certainly hope so. Right now, I am typing with my right eye close and reading the same way. I thought I was doing better last night. So gardening will wait and so will the cleaning. I am just going to take it easy until it all heals. Wishing you a great Friday, here it is very dark right now.

Raining over there right now? It must be a blessing! Isn't it a pain when we can't see properly?

@Hatley I know what you mean about not having the right glasses. I have to wait 4 more weeks to get the prescribed ones.

It's a good idea to wait until your eye feels better. I hope that this will only take a couple of days.

@marlina I remember that it was longer the previous time. Let's hope you have more luck now.

Can you type on the keyboard without looking at it ? :-) blind typing is very useful when one can't see well. You can touch and feel the J and F buttons since those have a little bulge on them. What kind of a surgery have you been through ? Was it a cataract ?

@marlina I hope you get well and as soon as possible. Eat carrots, they say it's good for the eyes.

@stringer321 I don't think that eating carrots is going to help me right now!

Yes, I learned to type with a method and I can type without looking. I had the cataract surgery done on both eyes now, and the right one is still healing, so I still see kind of blurry. But it is supposed to get better over this weekend.

You need some rest to maintain the eye power. Do not strain to do things with eye.

I have been thinking good thoughts for you today, hoping that you are healing because I know that you'll want to resume your regular pace of life. Hopefully in a few days though it sounds like.

so frustrating for you.... but you do need to be carefull and have a little patience.... but I can understand you wanting to get back into the garden ...sounds like you are doing the right thing by taking it easy... and I hope it gets better over the weekend ...

I hope you get your comfort back in that eye ASAP. I am thinking its time to have cataracts removed but don't look forward to the recovery.

That is the best way to approach your healing. Your vision should be as good or better than it was years ago.

So far, you are experiencing the same as my mum. Now she has no problem, but did grumble about having to get new glasses! I took a look at the garden and it does need a cut, but I am sure it still will tomorrow

Sorry, I was unable to see your updates on your eyes as I was busy offline and with my own eye problem. Did you have the surgery already?

Patience is what is needed. Remind me of that when it comes time for my surgery, though I have no idea when that will be.

Aye. The garden will still be there when your vision recovers. I need to get my eyes checked. Hope that it does improve over the weekend.
