There are websites whose sole purpose is to catalogue things: airplane accidents, limericks, recipes, even people who have removed themselves from the available gene pool in the stupidest ways possible...
As part of another discussion started by @Drosophila here on myLot, @moffittjc and I spotted a gap in the market, one we would like to address with this post.
Let me explain: there are lists of professions whose members would perform a simple task, viz. the changing of a lightbulb, in ways unique to the profession - psychiatrists do it differently from footballers, for example.
Knowing how myLotters are affected by the weather, and how the weather forecast affects everyone's plans for a weekend, we discovered that meteorologists are under-represented in the lightbulb-changing department.
To that end, as a valued member of the myLot community, please feel free to comment openly and frankly on this proposed addition to the Internet list of lightbulb jokes:
Q: How many meteorologists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: Four - one to determine weather or not the lightbulb needs a change, one to predict the direction the bulb will be screwed in, one to forecast how bright the light will be once it's screwed in and turned on, and one to stand in front of a green screen and wave his or her arms about telling us how the bulb-changing process is going to happen.
Your feedback may be important to the meteorologists's profession!
Disclaimer: Neither of the myLotters mentioned above, nor do I, have any declared interest in the meteorological profession as far as I know.

I was wondering when you were going to get around to this post! I thought by now I would have come up with something more to add to this joke, but alas, I still can't think of anything else! Maybe that means the joke is perfect as it is!
