This afternoon I dropped by at National Bookstore, the largest local bookstore in my country, to buy few school supplies for my personal use while waiting for the BBque I ordered to be cooked. I bought three fiber castell pens, one marker, one self-adhesive correction tape and Cattleya White pad. I could not beleive how expensive school supplies are nowadays. For these items only, I paid 150 pesos ( more or less 4 usd)

You are right, even a simple pencil and a block notes are expensive in our days.

I usually buy school items at a retail store; they have very low prices and I can buy varied items with 5 dollars (almost 90 mexican pesos).

We get what we can from the Dollar store then go to Walmart for the rest.
