Day 4 Mortiz Swiss Alps

This morning as we leave our hotel.Will be heading north through Chiavenna in the the beautiful Bregzgliz Valley to Castasegna where we will cross the Swiss border.Here is the best part.Will navigate the 13 winding hairpin turns of the road through the Malaga pass. After passing by crystal blue lakes,we will drive through Silvaplana Which is 6000 feet above sea level.To the mountain resort of Saint Moritz. from there we had a walking tour of many of this chic town most historic and famous land mark. the lake is there Lake Lugano.Will be seeing this The Swiss Alps is gorgeous.. Alfredo you got the name of the pass wrong it's not Malaga, but MALOJA. You were lucky with the weather, it's going to snow on Monday in St. Moritz.

@amadeo LOL The Maloja is open all the year round, but soon cars need special tires to go there.

Beautiful! Those hairpin turns frighten me. I'm sure you must have driven on the Amalfi coast in a previous trip. OMG! Lol!

Wow. It looks awesome. 13 hairpins. I would love to drive that road on my motorcycle. Lake Lugano is beahtiful. School trip there in 74. Oh i didnt get to go as my folks couldnt afford to send me but the kids who did go took some awesome pictures. Enjoy tbe rest of your vacation
