Today the role of woman in the society has become very important. Earlier she was confined to kitchen and maternity home. She was supposed to cook food, and attend all other kitchen work starting from cutting vegetables. She was taking the responsibility of bringing the children up. She was taking care of their each and every need. The whole house was being managed by her.Surprisingly, she was not highly educated most of the time in the olden days. Now the society has developed. It engulfed in itself so many new customs, traditions, procedures, and practices. There is a vast development in the social order itself. Now, woman is no more a tool confined to kitchen and maternity home. She is getting an education. She is actively participating in the various social activities . Besides her regular domestic work she is attending office, going out freely, participating in group activities, debating, lecturing, and trying to make a society which is totally advanced with more modern thoughts. She is not tolerating the atrocities if any come to her knowledge. She is picking up the culprits by their collar and questioning even the government as to the law that prevented them to taking action against those anti-social elements. The Government of India has been making the necessary changes time and again as deem fit and necessary towards achieving the Gener Equality which is a fundamental Right of every Indian Citizen. Even then the woman is denied some of her fundamental rights. The religious law is gaining ground and dictating the terms to a woman which she is expected to follow even in this modern age. In India, a girl is not eligible for marriage till she is 18 years of age and a boy is 21 years. This is made under the prevention of Child marriage Act. According to UNICEF report, about 47% girls are getting married at the age of 18 years and about 18% are still getting married at the age of 15 years. This is quite against the Fundamental Right which is blocking the developed and the Rights of Women on par with the Gents. Here the Religious Law is becoming dominant and some Religious heads are even of the opinion that it is the Religion first and then the Nation next . This is quite ridiculous. Hence, the concept under #OneNationOneLaw is emerging in India according to which the rituals and traditions go by Religious Law and in the matters other than those in which there is a National law, the National Law should be followed. The above backward thinking is taking place only in the case of Muslim Law. They are arguing that as per their religion a girl can marry at the age of 15 years and they have nothing to do with the National Law. Further, a Muslim lady is not supposed to enter inside the Sanctum Sanctorum of a Mosque. If we go by that tradition as per Islamic Law a Muslim who commits murder and steal the property of another person should be stoned to death in public. For this, the Muslim Religious Heads talk about the National law and request and approach the Courts for Justice. This is totally selfish and in no way helpful for the National Development. They should realize the importance of Gender Equality, National Law, and Religious Law. They should also know that it is only the National Law which carries first place in the rank and should strive towards the Nation Building activities. They should also realize that they can not suppress women any longer in the name of Religion.

Are those 'Fundamental Rights' mentioned as such in the Constitution? If not, then it's just the perspective.

You are so right my friends, but religion in India is not the only one that suppresses the right of women. It is a shame that in our day there are still this kind of problems.
