Back in Nottingham
If only I was here to stay instead of just visiting Nottingham. I’m almost 300 miles north of Plymouth for the weekend. I’m with my oldest who is looking at universities at the moment for next year. He went to Swansea about 2 months ago and loved it. He also likes Nottingham, but at the moment Swansea is at the top of his list, few more to visit over the next month or so.
Anyway, it’s been a busy weekend with going to the open day at the university and meeting up with old friends who I’ve not seen for a few years, I do miss Nottingham.

@kevin1877uk No, in fact nobody wants me.
I used to visit Bowlers computer fair regularly, but it seemed to fade into oblivion a few years back. It was without doubt the biggest computer fair around.

Oh, you aren't wanted by the sheriff of Nottingham, are you?? I've been to Manchester many times over the years, main for the computer fair a Trafford Park, although that been a few years now.

if you like the area maybe you could move that way eventually? Im doing....well ok. the whole life crisis has thrown me for a loop.

anyways, I need a new christmas hat, and actually want 2. No job atm, no idea what kind of deal you can make me, but was hoping for one, heh. I want one in white with blue detailing, and then one like you made me. when I lost my home I lost alot of stuff, and the hat was in the stuff that I dont know where it went too

Glad you have the sun back, enjoy the sun while you can. Nottingham is a wonderful city, and I have missed it.

It sounds like an enjoyable weekend. Nice to catch up with some old friends. I think Nottingham has a good reputation as a university. I seem to remember it was on my list all those years ago when I was applying, though I ended up going to Warwick.

Thank you, yes it was great to see old friends YAY. It will either be Swansea, Nottingham, Edinbrugh or Coventry he will be going to.
