Do you still have a land line? Today some land line are not rally land line when I use to have a land line I allway use net zero dial up internet. why at that time it was around $10.00 a month . Now with the new type of land line it kind of wire less the dial up programs will not work on the new type of land lines. before the only reason had a land line was for to have internet service which with the phone service and internet it still was the cheapest I could afford.

Yes, I have a landline phone, because it's the cheapest way to call my Mom every day in Italy.

@topffer Not here, I can have 1000 free calls to Switzerland (that I do not need), but we pay for international calls. The landline anyway comes with the Internet and the Internet TV, it's a package.

I have a landline simply because my internet plan is bundled with it but it's rarely used now.

No. We haven't had a land line in a very long time. I believe since I was in middle school and that was a very long time ago.

Yes, we still have a landline phone at home. My grandfather worked as a lineman for the local telephone company. In fact, he was part of the first batch of linemen trained by their foreign counterparts. Having a landline phone at home is like having my grandfather at home even though he isn't around anymore.

Yes, we do have a landline, but we don't use it. My husband and I use our cellphones more. It's the numbers that we give out, and it's just easier to contact us at those numbers.

We got rid of ours about 10 years ago. No sense paying for it when it was never used by anyone but telemarketers!

We never had a land landline at home because I live in a far flung area but yes it is still better to have a landline at home. Cellphone is better if you are always out or traveling.

I do not. We have to use our phone line for our internet. The landline was also really expensive and we don't really have anyone that calls us. I barely even get any calls on my cellphone. My dad doesn't even call my number anymore, he uses facebook calling to chat with everyone. It is crazy. I still remember my home phone number too haha

@eagletrek2 The only good thing a landline is good for is for response for emergencies. police and firemen are sometimes a block off when using a cellphone, but they can pin point exactly when using a landline.

At my parent's home, we still kept the landline connection there. But at my place, just mobile phone is enough.
