I Cured My Tennis Elbow

I have had tennis elbow in both arms back and forth for years. I went to physiotherapy twice but could only stay for as long as the insurance company paid ($500). There I received ultrasound treatment and acupuncture. After that I just stopped going. If the tennis elbow was going to come back, what's the point. Recently my left arm was flaring badly. I was wrapping warm bean bags around it, taking pain killers, using a brace/wrap. When it's not flaring the tender spot on the elbow hurts to touch - both elbows. I posted awhile back that I had searched online for exercises and yoga for fibromyalgia and that I had picked a couple of upper body exercises to do while walking on the treadmill. I just realized that neither of my elbows hurt anymore, not even to touch. I don't know which exercises have helped but I do 3, one of which is for the shoulder so I can discount that one... and my shoulder still bothers me. So, one or both of these have cured my tennis elbow - shadow boxing: right punch, left punch, right hook, left hook x 25, 4 times during my hour on the treadmill. The other is a yoga exercise positioning the hands in a prayer position and using pressure in pushing your hands together. While holding the hands in that position do a circular rotation 20 times, then in the reverse direction 20 times. I also do this 4 times during my hour work-out. I don't know which one of these has cured the tennis elbow, maybe a combination of both. I thought this was worth sharing.

I hope it works for him like it did for me... unless I'm just out of the flare, but with the weather being the way it has lately I'm more like to be in a pain flare rather than out of one.

Warm pack is wrong, as soon as you notice pain, use ice or cold packs for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, several times a day.

well done - sometimes there is something out there we can manage ourselves to assist with our ails. I do ballet leg warm ups for my painful Achilles heel rather than do all the medical stuff anymore, its working too

I am happy that you are cured of your problem. Continue these exercise. It will take only 5 minutes times. But the effect will be amazing. I need not tell it to you now.
