Sharing the library computers

There is only 6 computers at our library. One has a scanner that I have needed to use a ton of times the past week for the cyber schooling enrollment.
If anyone is on the computer the scanner is attached to I have to wait an hour for them to get off before I can get on.
Today I sat next to an older woman who had waltz music or something she was listening to very loudly from headphones. If listening to that wasn't bad enough for me she sat there tapping her foot.
I have a short fuse when it comes to noises I could not wait to get out of there lol. I imagine my loud typing on the keyboard annoys people too so I try to keep it as quiet as I can.

I worked for years in our tustin Ca library then they built a ndw library the old one had just six and poeople woulkd have to wait and wait. the new one has about twent and is really great bujt I hab retired before the new one opened drat now Im in garden grtove lol

I have a computer I just didn't have a scanner or printer. My son just received a laptop and a brand new scanner / printer from the cyber school today. It is his to use as long as he is enrolled in cyber school. I have to pay for the ink but at least we have one now and I won't have to go to the library all the time now.

I can see how that would bother you. I have used the library computers a number of times. I like things to be quiet.
