On the birthday party that my lady boss had for their 2 year old daughter yesterday at McDonald’s last week , the kids have different games . Though the son of my officemate who sat beside me , don’t want to play though . But when the “Bring Me “ game came , I cajoled him to participate because I can help him . I was the one excited ! So , when the emcee said :”bring me red lipstick “ I readily got my red lipstick from my already open bag and he gave it to the emcee . We were seated near the emcee that’s why . Then , when the emcee said “bring me an umbrella” I took out from my bag my folded umbrella , much to the happiness of my officemate and his boy . Then , when the emcee said “bring me pressed powder “ I took out from my bag my pressed powder and gave it to him and he gave it to the emcee at once agin . But when the emcee said “bring me , a senior citizen card , I have none of course because I am not a senior citizen yet “ My boss’ mother is a senior citizen but she wasn’t able to bring with her , her card . No one was able to give him that .

But then , senior citizens should always have the card on their bag because when they get hungry they can have a 20% discount at restaurants . Though the attendees are from 30s - 50s with their kids and grandkids .

I guess those senior citizens just don't like everyone to know that they are already seniors .

@SIMPLYD You are a good aunt. Same here, it makes me feel happy when I see my niece happy. Sometimes, I feel that my sister thinks I am spoiling her daughter.

@annierose That's because i miss having kids . And because i don't have one anymore since our daughter is already big and is now a doctor , i am happy being with my nieces and nephews . That's okay if you spoil her daughter . Just make sure she still have the good manners required of a good child.

I always enjoy children's birthday party . It's funny seeing those kids doing the games for the sake of the prizes . So that's why when it's a children's party , i see to it that i am seated in front with my niece or nephew so when "bring me " game comes i can easily give to them and them go to the emcee to give what she's looking for .

LOL . . @SIMPLYD . . You reminded me of our Christmas parties when I was still an insurance sales manager in the Philippines. The game was "SHOW US!" But, hey, the prizes were not cheap . . electric fans, transistor radios, and so on. So, our general manager ( who was a bit more manyakis than me), never forgot the show-us game. It was the highlight and finale of our Christmas party. The manyakis yelled - - "show us your sock with hole!" One of my agents got a hole in one of his socks . . he won a small electric fan. . "Who is sporting red bra, show us? . . Man, a lady agent from Laoag City pulled up her shirt to show her red bra. !"Who is wearing black underwear . . show us!" . . . You don't believe it . . . 2 women pulled down their pants and showed the top of their black underwears! Then he yelled - - "Who is not wearing underwear! Show us and win this portable TV set!" One guy pulled down his pants including his underwear and showed us his dark butt! . . That brought the house down! The general manager let him won the portable TV. . . I miss the Philippines!

At 60 year old . You will have to apply for a senior citizen card , because you will show it when you buy medicines because there's 20% discount and also on fares and on restaurants too . That's here in the Philippines . I just don't know in other countries if they have that .

I was the one excited actually , to be able to bring me items through the kid because i want him to win those prizes . I think pink is the most common color so that 's why he chose red , which most girls don't have . They don't like red lipstick . I don't know why . But me i like it on some colors of the top clothes .
