“Hide not your talents, they for use were made, What's a sundial in the shade?” ~ Benjamin Franklin The project is on the way . . . the children from the ART class have painted their squares and now my work begins. Making quilts with the painted art work so that the school can display the finished items to the parents and the community of ART enthusiasts so that they can be auctioned off. The proceeds will then be directed to a worth charity. Its wonderful to see the children at school put their talents into projects that make a difference. (Clever teacher as well - my daughter) What do you think? which is your favourite square?

My favourite is the one with the stream and a big sun going down on the horizon, it's peaceful.

it was good that the children could find the inspiration to paint that scene - we wonder if the young children of today even look at sunsets?

Morning lovely Lany :) I like the dancer under the rainbow, but my favourite is the cross against the blue and red background, second up on the right.

I won't choose one square as my favourite. They affect each other and are pretty because they lie side by side.

@crazyhorseladycx the used unbleached calico for the canvas and Fabric Paints to pain with. Now I have completed the ironing to ensure the paint is stayproof and today I will wash them all to check no runs

Indeed, 'do not hide your light under a bushel' as the Bible says. Those are lovely, what a neat idea. My favourite is the evening landscape in the middle of the second row.

I love your quote from the bible and I think I might just use it on the label of the 4 Picnic quilts the school has made. I think it says it all.

They are simply awesome as professional cards. It is difficult to choose a peculiar one. The students are really talented and their teacher is really proud of them.
