Spoke Too Soon!

Have you ever put your foot in your mouth? Well I have several times in my life. Of course currently the one I am referencing is the "I am Back" post that I posted on October 11th. Unfortunately, my laptop decided that it did not care for my happiness and it once again frittered out on me.
So I am at the college library typing away. I hope that I will get to spend at least a few hours here tomorrow. I plan on dropping the twins off at Pre-K and heading straight here to the library and logging in. I will be able to stay until I have to leave to pick them up at 2!! Now I am crossing my fingers and hoping that everything works out!!

Our electronics rule our world! We have had to head to the library a few times b/c the Internet was down for days or something was wrong w/our computer.

@PatZAnthony I hate it when it happens. I am addicted to my computer and the internet.... I guess there are worse things to be addicted to though.

I had hoped your laptop was ready to let you bang away but I guess you musta banged too hard 
Keep an eye out in late December when they run specials on electronics, maybe you could afford a refurbished laptop?? I've got my fingers crossed for ya, good to see you found a way to get back here.

LOL I did bang too hard. When the laptop gets too hot it goes out on me. I can use it for a while but not long.

Is there a way you can put it on a open space grid @Shellyann36 ? I was told that laptops are notorious for overheating unless you keep the underside free of solid surfaces.

@rebelann I use one of those cheap $1 cookie cooling racks from Dollar Tree. Of course the height was not very tall so I sort of sit books under the edges of it. It works for the most part. The truth is that I have used this thing above and beyond what I did with my desktop.
