When we look at our significant others what is endearing about them? Those positive aspects that we appreciate about them? What made you fall in love with him/her? What qualities do you find most pathetic? Does he/she have a certain skill you admire? If you haven't found that special person yet, what characteristics do you look for?

For me his most endearing quality is how he loves me no matter what.

Despite my boyfriend's many flaws, he has always been fairly understanding and non judgmental. I don't really know what made me fall in love with him, he was very caring, and he has never let me walk away, despite all of the issues we've had. He has fought for us when I've been ready to give up. I think that says a lot about him. He is incredibly handy, he's kind of the jack of all trades. He can cook, clean, fix computers, cars, random household repairs, he can do a little bit of electrician work. He is just not a typical guy, and I like that about him. When I was looking for someone, I don't know that I ever actually had a specific person I was looking for. I know that I was not willing to go out of my way to be with someone. I was willing to give guys a chance, but I also wasn't going to go through great measures to get a guy to notice me. It's honestly just nice to be with a guy who cares. I never had a set type, I found out years later that in looks apparently I do have a type, I never really noticed it much until years later when I looked back at all of the guys I dated lol, most of them and even the celebrity crushes I've had had a certain look about them, and I never really thought about it. Apparently I like dark haired men, usually with blue eyes (sometimes brown), and a slightly tan skin complexion, usually a little older, I didn't really have a huge preference in height, but I did like them taller than me most of the time, but have dated shorter. Ironically my boyfriend meets all of that criteria lol. I didn't even do it on purpose.

@celticeagle I wasn't really playing hard to get, I just didn't go out of my way lol. I just didn't want to waste my time on a guy that didn't care about me. I'm on the shy side, so it's hard for me to really put myself out there anyway. I like them taller, but height was never a requirement. The guy I almost got with before my boyfriend was only 5'3" and my boyfriend is 6'2" there's almost a foot difference lol. He is a good guy over all, but he can be a serious jerk at times, more before than now, but I've stuck with him and vice versa. I think sometimes you have to look past the bad to see the good. Sometimes you have to work through the bad to get to where you want to be. Relationships are hard. Regardless I think sometimes we as women get it in our heads what we feel a guy should be that we miss out on a lot of great guys. I think it's great to have standards and know your worth, but sometimes we get hung up on trivial things that way.

@sissy15 .....I understand. Was being facetious. I'm shy too. Was pitifully shy when I was young. Looking past the bad is okay if the percentage is better on the good side. Yes, I do agree women do get in their own heads too much. The movies and stars did a lot of putting odd ideas in young girls heads. We need to have a realistic idea of what we need and want and go from there.

Playing hard to get always seems to get their interest. I always like tall men. He does sound like a good guy.

My husband is such a kind soul. He has a heart of gold when it comes to anyone which I find amazing. He has strong faith which I also find incredible. He's good with children. He can make me laugh even in the difficult times, he's so funny! He's compassionate and a very hard worker. He is very faithful and loyal. I feel very Blessed to have found him. =)

I don't look for anyone. If I'm ever out of my mind enough to hook up with someone, just knock me senseless.
