I did not know when you use your credit card that your credit score will go up and down lol. I went up 94 points and now down 14 points. Funny thing about that too is that in my credit score report it shows credit card Walmart $117...yep. My score is going to constantly fluctuate now and that is fine. I better get used to it lol. My goal is to get in the "average to good" section.

I never realized that either. I need to get my score improved but I can't get approved for anything to do that with. =(

Right. Even landlords here even start checking peoples credit.

Look into SelfLender.
Capital One has a decent secured card available. Fingerhut and Gettington seem to be very unselective about their credit criteria, but they also charge huge interest on products they sell for way more than you can get them elsewhere. I only signed up because they have no annual fee... Not hard to resist shopping there since it's such a ripoff.

@yukimori I denied at Capital One for some reason. Oh well. Maybe later on I will try again.

Right. I am glad I can pay more than normal each month. Like $150 of it.

Don't keep checking your credit score. Believe it or not, that will harm it too. Part of your credit score is based on your available credit and how much of that credit you are using. BUT, if you don't use your credit ever, that's not good either. The best thing is to use it and then pay it off in the same month.

I use Credit Karma, free, to check my score weekly. Thank you.
