Up and about .... early...

Yes the clocks went back.... an extra hour in bed... I wish it was as simple as that, to reset our body clocks..., because I still woke up at my usual time... , so it was early..., but, the dog had no trouble adjusting to the time, and was still curled up fast asleep, so I made a drink and went back to bed with it... and read my book. We are off for a walk down the beach shortly ... then a drink at the café... and while I don't want to wish my day away...., I'm already looking forward to our dinner tonight, it is baked pork chops with cauliflower cheese ... mmmm ... Yummm I hope you all have a good sunday... and good weather to go with it.... and enjoy a nice meal... Do you do a ' proper sunday lunch' ? And if you do ... what is it...?

We only do a "proper" Sunday meal if we are getting together with someone. Then it might be late lunch or early supper, depending on the needs of the people driving. Maybe I will do a proper dinner for hubby and I today

@sueznewz2 No, we had soup. But we used a lot of the ripe tomatoes from our garden!

We have the same type of lunch every day....dinner is fancier. We don't turn the clocks until next week.

@AbbyGreenhill I remember ... it was a surprise to learn last year that you didn't change your clocks at the same time we do....

Sundays and saturdays are meant to be spent many extra hours in bed . I always oversleep on those days to catch up some lost sleep during the weekdays when i have to wake up so earlyto prepare for work .

It takes to me 6 months to adjust to the daylight saving time, but my body adjusted perfectly to the solar time just during the night. If they would stop to move the clock I would be a happy camper.

@sueznewz2 I cannot understand the change. They waited so long to go back to the solar hour than now it's dark anyway in the morning, but it's also dark in the evening. This sounds so stupid.

ohh my goodness... Anna @LadyDuck that is a long time to adjust... I think a lot of people.. like yourself... question the necessity of changing the clocks these days...?

We went out for Sunday lunch and had roast lamb, lovely. The clocks going back didn't make much difference to me.

Our time changes next Sunday. I know it will take time to adjust to the new time, it always does. Not sure what I ate on Sunday anymore. I know I wasn't doing too well as I had a migraine which left me with an upset stomach. I had an early night because of it.

@sueznewz2 I think some of that migraine was because of last week's fast and colonoscopy. I'm still working out getting my eating straightened out. So far I've only managed one meal a day and I know I should eat more than that. My morning wake up headache is proof of that. However, I am hungry at the moment, so I will be getting something to eat very soon.

That sounds like a nice dinner, and a traipse along the beach sounds just the right thing to get up an appetite for it :)
