Update 1 on "Finding Love"

Last night, I posted on here about the boyfriend’s brother who will be visiting the Philippines for the first time to meet this lady he met on craigslist. The original post is here if you are curious of the background story: Last night, we called their mother to wish her a happy birthday. Then she mentioned about the brother’s trip and how worried she is about it. Not wanting to upset her on her birthday, we assured her that he is old enough to know when he is in danger and I have family there who can help him when needs help. It turns out that this brother tried to persuade their nephew and their sister to go with him. It seems like he is now finally realizing that this is not an easy trip and would require lots of preparations. I think I forgot to mention that he has a little bit of a physical handicap that will make the 19 hours of flying in a limited and confined space even more challenging. I do not want to divulge any more information regarding his condition but let’s just say that he has mobility issues because of past surgeries. Of course there is also a matter of the lady flying here to meet him instead, but a tourist visa is very hard to obtain. Cost-wise, it wouldn’t make that much of a difference. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of these days we got invited to go with him on his trip. Unfortunately, we already have a trip planned plus I cannot be away for that long because of work and school.
