Ever since I moved here, the Filipino-American community have been celebrating Christmas by having a Christmas Party. Now is the 3rd year that I will be participating in the yearly event. We have different foods, usually potlucks, we have kids and adult games with small tokens or gifts for prizes, we have raffle draws for main prizes, and some prepares entertainment for everyone by showcasing their talents in singing or dancing. Then we have Santa visit us for a few minutes for the children. This year it will be celebrated on the second week of December since a lot of people have travel plans to celebrate Christmas with other family members. I still have my school going during that time so I am hoping I will be able to participate and help without messing my schedule.

It is fun but it is also a lot of work. But it is easier when you are surrounded with friends.
